Bridgestone says it has redefined its position in the winter tire market, with the launch of new products and an expanded range of premium tires designed for all types of winter conditions in Europe. The backbone of this new winter range are four recently launched products: the Bridgestone A001 Weather Control for moderate, wet climates; the lamellen Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 and Bridgestone Blizzak LM-80 for variable central European winters; and the Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 with MulticMulticell compound for extreme northern European conditions. These tires have been designed with Bridgestone's latest winter tread and compound technologies, supported by heavy R&D investments and product testing at Bridgestone's new winter proving ground in northern Sweden. A full range of winter tires also includes: the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-30/35 for compacts, mid-sized cars and family saloons; the studless Bridgestone Blizzak DMV1 for SUVs; and the studded Bridgestone Noranza 2EVO for the ice and packed snow of northern Europe.
